It really works!
First, I bought a competing wireless HDMI solution that uses 5 GHz frequency. To my disappointment, the colors were not saturated, there was "banding" of subtle color gradations, and there was loss of fine details. All of those symptoms are the result of compression. Apparently, all 5 GHz solutions (which most wireless HDMI models are) must use compression and will suffer from the same. Then, I found out about these "millimeter wave" models that use 60 GHz and NO compression. First, I purchased this company's model that advertises a range of 5m (~16 feet). I couldn't get more than about 6 feet of range, so I returned that unit. But I was very pleased with the quality of the signal. It appeared identical to an HDMI cable. So, I purchased this unit which advertises a range of 30m (~100 feet). I didn't test it any further than 24 feet, but the signal was apparently very strong and walking back and forth between the transmitter and receiver did not interrupt it. In fact, I could point the transmitter in any direction (from 24' away) and the signal stayed locked on. The only time the signal was interrupted was when I pressed the transmitter antenna directly against my flesh. I was very pleased and felt that this one was a keeper. But the cherry on top was when I discovered that this unit will pass HDMI-CEC signals! The 5GHz models will not do that.

Not Plug and Play
Took an hour trying to figure out what was going on with this item for it still not work. This is supposed to be plug and play, that is not the case. Even after consulting the manual and following the steps to the T, this wireless HMDI option is definitely a no go.

Great for Home Theater Projector
Had been using the Nyrius Aries Pro for years with my JVC THX projector, as that was the best game in town at the time for 1080p wireless trans..Unfortunately the Unit (transmitter ran very hot) would cause some pixilation and finally the deal breaker was when switching inputs on the receiver, it would start searching for a channel between units to connect and sometimes take 3-5 minutes till it locked in on a good channel..This PeakDo is what i was looking for.Runs cool, does NOT pixelate on Projector screen and Never searches for a channel..Some times between input changes, it can take 5-10 seconds to show the picture, but well worth the under $200 price...Definitely a Keeper!!!!!!!!!!!

Wireless 0 Latency HDMI
Flawless. No latency. No artifacting or stutters. Running it in a conference room with a mobile media cart and 360 camera. Mounting the receiver as high as possible helps aligning RX/TX and reduce accidental blocking.
