JVC RD-D70 All-In-One Hi-Fi with Bluetooth, USB, DAB/FM Radio, CD Player and Aux-in Socket

I sent this back feeling it was a bit plastic and ordered a much more expensive Panasonic one , what a mistake i made doing that , The JVC got a DAB signal anywhere in the house , it had everything i was looking for , the sound from it was good , under £100 great , the Panasonic doesn't get a signal unless i put it near a window and that was me spending another £10 on an aerial cause you don't get one with it , ok Panasonic is wooden unit as to JVC's plastic but it wasn't worth an extra £140 , more expensive isn't always better , JVC is a great wee unit i regret sending it back ,

Versatile unit with DAB radio, CD, USB and streaming via Bluetooth in a compact single unit. Loud enough for my grandson to enjoy sharing music with his friends, but not loud enough to annoy the rest of the family. Perfectly adequate sound quality for what he wants. The USB allows him and his friends to compare "Garage Band" tracks they create.My grandson (and his friends) really like it. I don't know how long it will last, but all my previous JVC purchases have been reliable.

Fanatic unit and very compact. Does everything it says it should with ease, and set up is a doddle - quite literally plug n play. The sound range is great for a medium sized room and I've found it to have excellent sound quality. Only slight negative is the blue display light which is very bright for a bedroom. I've covered it but the unit as an audio centre is fantastic. Some found the remote a bit small but even with my big fingers I've not had a problem so far.

Excellent and versatile unit. Everything works very well and the sound quality is good for the size. I mainly use it connected to my PC on the auxiliary setting to provide better sound for music and video, but all the other modes (CD, USB, Bluetooth DAB & FM radio) are useful and work well. Good quality and attractive unit at a very good price.

Although the sound quality is good and the unit is attractive, I would not recommend it. This is the second JVC unit I've purchased, and neither has lasted longer than a few weeks before going wrong. Everything was fine for a few weeks and then all the preset radio stations were lost. When I tried to re-tune them, the unit wouldn't allow me to. It will be returned for a refund or replacement.

Birthday present for myself so, apart from switching on and tuning on arrival, I didn't use until 7 weeks later.Actual Hifi is good but remote control stopped working within an hour or so of use. Changed battery and ok for 2 weeks when it died again. Died again today after a couple of weeks after changing battery again.Seller says I need to contact Amazon but don't know how to as it says return window closed. Per Google new remote costs £12. Any ideas anyone? Do I just suck it up?Update.... Amazon have given me a £12 credit as found a replacement remote for sale elsewhere for £12. Just gotta figure out what Amazon.co.uk sell directly that I want so I can use the credit.

This unit was just right for my small music room, I have always found JVC music players and headphones a good quality for a moderate price, I really wanted this for my cd’s and mostly for playing straight from the usb clip and I am really pleased with the result also the quality of the dab radio stations, can’t fault this product.

Superb item my only small criticism is that the remote is not great but overall a very good buy.
