Having used the Medium up to now I was worried that the Fine would be too... fine. But it's not. It's a little bit finer and lighter than the Medium. It's not as smooth using it compared to the Medium but good enough for me. And it should last longer.

This refill does exactly what it is designed for. I love Lamy ballpoint pen ink because it doesn't go "blobby" like cheaper ballpoints (blobby ballpoints aggravate me no end!)I'd fully recommend these refills. Obviously you'd need the Lamy pen to begin with, and by having that you probably know how good they are anyway!
