Not that great, but it works
This package has pretty much the same contents as most rock tumbler kits come with. I would compare it to the National Geographic Hobby Rock Tumbler. Same size base, same size barrel. However, not the same sort of quality. Everything about this product is of less quality of the National Geographic kit. But then it's half the price.I'm testing this tumbler out and will update my review when the rocks are done.I purchased this mainly because I wanted another tumbler (this will be my 4th) with a small barrel to tumbler small batches of small rocks. And this one was pretty cheap. I figured it would be of a certain quality and wasn't surprised at what I got.This tumbler will probably work fine. One thing I will note - unlike tumblers from many years ago - these modern tumblers run at high speed. Back a few decades they ran around 40-50 RPMs, this one is probably going +120 RPMs. The thought is the faster the rocks tumble the shorter the time it takes to polish them. Not sure I like that. Proof will be in the results.Do I recommend this?, not really. Spend the extra money and get the Hobby kit from National Geographic.

Cheap and defective
The product wheel is quirked and the rubber band flied out almost hit my kid. The whole thing is so cheaply made. Amazon really need to monitor what kind of garbage is being sold on its platform.
