Wire rope cutter
I Can highly recommend this wire rope cutter, as i had some 4mm galvanized wire rope to cut for a poly tunnel. It does the job of cutting 4mm wire rope very well , the cut ends do not fan out , as can happen with some of the cheaper cutters the type of which I had had the misfortune to purchase from one of amazons competitors. You will need to use both hands with this size of cutter.

Everything you would hope a quality brand like Knipex should be: a very effective cutter, well designed and looks to be durable. All at a good price.As with all German tools check the price on Amazon Germany as the prices can be much cheaper.

Perfect tool for bicycle cables
Excellent Knipex quality as usual, made easy work of the bicycle gear cables and very clean cuts with no freying.

Quality tool although there are better cheaper. Bought to replace ParkTool cable cutter. If considering a change suggest to stay with PT. The Knipex is a quality tool but crimping and leverage doesn’t compare.

A quality tool but you will need the hands of a giant to cut anything at 4mm. The handles need to be far to wide to get the snips over even a small diameter.
