This hardware kit was exactly what I needed to build a sturdy and good looking Murphy bed for my basement! All I needed was this kit plus several sheets of quality plywood and some trim.The best part about this is that it comes with guides that you lay on the wood to align your drill holes. Makes everything super simple!

I got his Murphy bed kit for our guess room. We didn’t want to have a queen sized bed always occupying the majority of the space, so a Murphy bed fit the bill.The kit came with very detailed instructions and template for cutouts, the hardware seems like it a good quality, and the struts are extremely strong.So strong that my friend and I had a difficult time installing it into the ball connection.We have purchased a memorial queen size mattress for this bed and the struts is still very strong and lifts the bed leg above the floor.As you can see in the photos, my friend and I have made this Murphy kit into a wall unite with shelves and drawers on both sides. The bed is almost done, just need to paint it.

It takes some work which is to be expected, but when it’s all done it’s sturdy and works perfectly.

The templates are incorrect you measure the dimensions and they don’t match probably scaled wrong. Decided to follow the patterns but as expected during assembly they didn’t match had to modify holes. To top it all off the shoxks are extremely hard that the lift the hole thing up even with the mattress on it. Not recommended!!

I purchased this exact bed last year and put it together. Online videos helped me with the big picture and the instructions were great for the details. It was a lot of work, but worked great in the end.I purchased another hardware this spring and it did NOT come with the instruction booklet. Unfortunately I do not have the instructions that I used last year, and I can't contact the company. Great product if they remember to include directions.

This hardware kit lets you create a twin sized Murphy bed that folds away to save space. The kit contains all metal hardware and fasteners to make a quality hideaway bed with gas struts to alleviate storing and opening the bed. The instructions give all the details on how to construct the cabinet and all dimensions on how and where all hardware is mounted.

This is more like I would expect for a Murphy bed hardware set to look and feel like. The components are laid out well, the installation seems fairly straightforward, I think it should last a while, and it has about all you need except for the wood.
