great knife it just took over 8 days past the delivery date because it was 2/17 but wasn't shipped out till that date took almost 2 weeks and was guaranteed 2 days and all amazon said was they was sorry but this is the second time I've had to wait over an extra week to get my order if there is a 3rd I'll shot elsewhere

Budget steel, budget price. I've had mine since May. Mine is stamped 03/24 on one of the blades. Pretty cool. Quality is there, and it holds an edge pretty good for a 7CR17mov. Easy to sharpen, handy edc. The smooth rounded scales feel better than the bone series. I use a leather sleeve but it'll fit in the coin pocket of your jeans. I liked it so much I bought a few more in the series. This one's by and far my favorite size wise.

I guess I have been fortunate with my Old Timer, I have not had any of the problems others have written about in their reviews. I will say that this knife is my desk top knife so it does not get the daily use or carry. I have an aged Old Timer that my dad gave me about 50 years ago. Of course I do not abuse my equipment either. I would never use a hammer on the spine of any knife.It does bother me that familiar name brand everything is being made in China today. One thing I do not like is the rivets holding the faux bone on are too large. That is they stand out from the knife twice as far as they need to be.Merry Christmas and God Bless you all

Old Timer is my go to pocket knife

When all is said and done this is a good knife. No it is not an American made knife anymore but, what is? On mine it does not have made in China on the knife anywhere, that is on the box. With that said it is pretty impressive from the point of the blade being sharp. I haven't had it long enough to say how often it will last after sharping. But most, like me, have a good stone to sharpen when needed.Also I would say, at least out of the box, it feels very well made and the blades lock in place well. You can fell it snap into place after opening. For the price you will not go wrong with this knife.Like others have said had this been made in USA it would have gotten 5*s. Great size and weight to carry everyday.

Small and light in your pocket but feels good in your hand.

These are made in China and not the quality of the original Schrade Old Timers (good luck finding an original in good shape for even close to an affordable price), but they are inexpensive and still very good pocket knives. Don't listen to the whiners on here. These knives are a convenient "just right" size that fits in a pocket or purse. They are very useful and make great gifts that everyone appreciates.
