LED Aquarium Blue Light Blub, 18W (36W Equivalent) LED Plant Grow Light Bulb with 450-460nm Blue LEDs for Indoor Plants Veg and Aquarium Plants Growing

I compared this Higrow 36 watt 450nm to 460nm wavelength light to a 18 watt BlueX light and from the same distance it is several times brighter . When it's stated to put out 4250 lumens of light it's quite believable just by observation in my two photos that I put up here. The BlueX bulb is of course less expensive.I just received the light on Sunday July 7,2024. This Higrow light puts out a bright spot in the center and I see no bright center spot from the BlueX bulb . No wonder that the Higrow light has a metal heat sink around it for additional cooling.

If you are using this for supplemental plant light it doesn't show up until the main grow light is out.If you turn the grow light off you can see this light. I have it 4 foot off my plant and I cant see it.But if I turn the grow light out it lights the plant up. The plant is only 1.5 feet in diameter and about 20 inches tall.You could not use this alone if your purpose is bigger blooms. As you need the other spectrums to get it.But if and that is a big if because I am not sure, IF it works as a supplement I will know shortly.

This lamp is ideal for flowering my orchids. The lamp has engineered heat fins to assist cooling. I suggest you do not use a reflector above it as it would interfere with cooling. Just a plain socket hung from a string which would allow you to move the lamp up and down if needed. It does generate a bit of heat, because the lamp is very bright. Do not look into the lamp directly to avoid any damage to your eyes. It is very well made and packed to insure delivery. Appears to be a quality made product. I like the fixed wavelength of light. Not ideal for growing; it is specifically for flowering your plants; orchids, tomatoes, annual bulbs, etc. Price is right.

Item used for red light therapy about 90 mins/day total. Good results so far. Item performs to stated specs.I did not experience the drawbacks mentioned in other reviews.The heat output is quite reasonable considering the power of the unit. The unit is setup in a swing-arm, jointed desk lamp with wide-mouth and well-ventilated lamp casing.The beam is fairly concentrated, (probably a bit narrower than the stated 90 degrees) which is good for light therapy. Yes, the unit is bright: this is the whole point.I was a bit skeptical at first, but items is well-suited for my use.Too early in the game to assess durability, but the items looks and feels well built.Satisfied with purchase, would buy again and recommend.

Bright, grows coral well. Very blue. Sadly half of the 20 I've bought over the years have failed within 2 to 3 months. Would be great, if they lasted.

This grow light bulb is very well made, sturdy, and quality construction. All the plants that I've set under this light have done well. I also have some plants with pink leaves and interestingly those have responded really, really well to this light. The plants with pink leaves are starting to grow flower buds, it's a first.This is the fourth item I've gotten from this company. All have been great. Previously I got a red light therapy lamp bundle that I rely on to reduce pain, it's awesome. I also bought two LED plant grow lights with stands, one last year, one this year. My large plants grew several feet taller over 7 months after I got the LED grow stand lights.What can I say, my plants and I are happy!

I've definitely seen my complexion become more even using this and I'm optimistic about some scarred pores. It will be clunky to use, but it works for me.
