Good to have just in case
This little AM/FM radio is good to have in your home or car just in case of emergencies. The knob is easy to turn and it was easy to find stations on the radio. I was actually expecting a smaller sized radio. Make sure you check the dimensions to see if this fits your needs. Great radio and decent sound quality. It's very old school and gives off a nostalgic feeling, especially as you're turning it and hearing static.

easy to use, great for use in power out situations
This unit is a super simple portable radio, its not a boom box but a simple way to receive news and info, as well as listen to some simple music. The batteries last a long time in our unit and we store it with the batteries separate to prevent leakage as we want to make sure this radio is available in an emergency, when the power or phones may be out.
