Best buy..So handy for straining without a colander many uses in kitchen.

This is the 6.3” size strainer/sieve & is perfect for any regular saucepan or wok. I’ve included a photo of it alongside a cola can for size-comparison (I thought that I’d have found that useful when I was looking for the best size for me).It’s really well made from stainless steel & has no sharp edges or loose wire connections; the solder is perfect. The unvarnished wooden handle is extremely secure & the entire handle length is perfect, so you won’t get your fingers burned whilst fishing-out your chips from a ‘million’ degree pan of oil…always a bonus!It has been through the dishwasher several times now, and has come out the other side without any signs of damage, rust, nor a splintered wooden handle! Though of course, the dishwasher can be a bit mean to wood over time.I’ve included photographs of close-up shots so that you can take a good look at the solder points. I’ve also included a photo of the sieve on my kitchen utensil rack (can you spot it🤭), just so that you can get a better idea about it’s size😁).It’s a great value & well-made sieve; I did look at a lot of them here on Amazon & other stores & chose this one because it’s a really good price & looked to be well-made…had plenty of really good Reviews too.Mine is a 100% HONEST Review. I’m extremely impressed with it & think that you will be too. Obviously, I’m absolutely recommending this little lovely!

A very useful and much used item in my kitchen.Not the sturdiest of construction, but for the price, you get what you pay for.

This is a really good tool i use it to add and remove eggs to boiling water for Chinese cooking draining fat from fried Chorizo etc

I used to have a problem when deep frying stuff - I didn't have the right tool to take stuff out comfortably. It would often result in me trying to use a sieve to drag things out of the pot, which was both annoying and dangerous, so I set about finding something more suitable for the job.I found this - and I couldn't be happier with it. The handle is comfortable, and it's just about the right size for my deep frying pot, so it means I can pull the food out and let it drain off all with the same tool. It's great, and I couldn't be more impressed with it. Does exactly what you want it to.One thing to keep an eye on though, it is quite big, so if you're looking for something a bit smaller it might not be this one.

For the price of €3, this is a deal. Hope the handle won't break with weight.
