Great product but not perfect to refill current joint.
This works great and easy to work with. The only issue with using this to replace rotten joint is that the gap between the concrete pads are usually slightly wider. If this product is about 3/16" or 1/4" thick, it will be perfect. It is easier to squeeze it in instead of leaving a gap in between.I end up have to cut a thin strip and squeeze near the top of the concrete gap to complete fill and secure this foam.I little be more work but it works.Let' see if it hold up.

Maybe I thought it was something else?
I have big gaps in my concrete driveway pads and the expansion joint material is long gone. I was looking to stick a bit of caulking foam, a pool noodle or something and caulk this on each side over the top. This is more like a foam material rather than that tarry caulk that I see in my other joints. I don't recall seeing the guys use tar or anything when doing the concrete work, so I thought this was the same stuff. It's probably more my fault for thinking it was something else, but for any lunkheads like me trying to not spend a ton on caulk tubes to fill a 4" x 20' gap, it's not really the right thing. So, the quest continues to fix my driveway.
