VANSON '57 Alnico II PAF style Chrome Humbucker SET (Neck & Bridge) for Gibson, Epiphone etc. (SET)

Similarly to another reviewer, I bought these pickups to replace the stock pickups present in my old Epiphone Les Paul. For full context, the particular model I have was released around 1994-1996 and I bought it used around 2007.These pickups are a lot warmer yet clearer than the ones that originally came with the guitar. They have quite a lot of range too; I've been playing with them both using a clean tone as well as with effects pedals and they sound brilliant considering the price.I can't comment on ease of installation, (as I got them fitted at the same time as my guitar was having some fretwork done by a professional), but from what I can gather the included shroud was almost identical the one already present on my guitar in terms of screw placement, etc.Overall I'm really impressed with the pickups and would fully recommend them if you're wanting an affordable upgrade for a budget guitar. There's a number of great demonstrations of their capabilities online that'd fully recommend watching before purchasing, as while I love the tone, it may not be to everyone's tastes.

Bought these didn't want to spend a massive amount on them as my guitar was 2nd hand off ebay and just wanted a cheap upgrade but better than the powersound ones that come with Ibanez GAX 30 2007, these sound awesome, they fitted perfect allbeit I hjad to use the original frame, but with the Chrome screws that I bought from Vanson it finishes the look of my guitar, these Lockign tuners from Vanson are really good too keeps m,y guitar in tune for way longer, I spoke to Ben and he is very friendly and very fast to reply to my questions, thank you Ben will shop again

I put these into my Epiphone Les Paul. They are a significant improvement on the stock pickups that came with the guitar. Nice clean tones, I think they are ever so slightly louder, but the main advantage is that the middle tones are much clearer, they don't get lost as was happening with the original pickups.I was slightly concerned as they weren't labelled which was the bridge & neck, but actually it was very obvious because the wires were different lengths (longer being for the neck one).If like me you're just using the basic humbucker setup (i.e. no split coils) you'll need to tape the two additional wires to each other, leaving you with just two wires to deal with.The outer plastic casing fit exactly with the original screw holes, so no switching casing required and aesthetically they look really good. My guitar is a dark finish so the black casings are a nice touch.Great tone, great look, easy to install - overall, very happy with these.

These are excellent sounding considering their budget price.They sound very similar to the Epiphone classic alnico humbuckers which they fit to their Les Pauls.I definitely prefer them to alnico 5 humbuckers, YMMV.

I bought these for a Westfield Les Paul type which had cheap Chinese pickups fitted. Fitting was straightforward and the difference in the guitar was remarkable - cleaner, clearer and more responsive. I'd recommend them without doubt. As an aside, I also installed a Wilkinson roller saddle bridge (ABR1 type) and the sustain has to be heard to be believed.

I replaced my Harley Benton PRS 24 pickups with a pair of Vanson humbucker's and the improvement is great.The original pickups were okay but now my guitars sound is smoother, fuller and much better all round. Highly recommended and not just at the price.

Put these in a Harley Benton CST24t. Now it sounds sweet. Definitely an upgrade for small money 🌴
