The Simrad unit works great. No issues with the transducer compatibility. The unit automatically recognized my Airmar xdr.

Amazing. I love this thing.
Easy to install. Easy to use. Just like a cell phone. Tons of youtube videos on how to setup and use. Nice update for a 17 year old boat. Added a 3 in 1 transponder and eventually will add radar. Plug and play.
