I tend to buy in-ear headphones/earphones to listen to podcasts, comedy and radio while in bed, often to the point of falling asleep with them in. With this use, the cables are often a point of failure if they become brittle when worn behind the neck for extended periods. Haven't had that be a problem with this specific Betron model as I think it uses a better grade of plastic/rubber coating on the cable.I've got fairly large ear canals and sometimes find that the largest eartips aren't big enough but no issue with these Betrons which I've bought twice. The first pair of AX1s came to an end when I tripped over and caught them on something so no fault of the headphones themselves.In use, for vocals they are great, and with the largest eartips, I find they are pretty isolating to external noise if they are playing something but as these are entirely passive, there is no noise cancellation per se.Bass response is better than many I've tried (down to 20Hz that I can hear) and these are more engaging musically than many other models I've tried.As I like to support UK manufacturers where I can, I will continue to buy Betrons and have had many models from their range over the years. Recent experience with another Betron model (YSM1000) just confirmed that the AX1s are better for my use.

Sound quality is brilliant. Used to always buy Sony but Betron is my new go to. Definitely worth the money, stylish design, good quality, cable length is good. I don’t really use volume control on earphones so can’t comment on that as I use my phone to control volume.

Good sound, if only the ear buds would stay in my ears!!! Too big and too heavy for me, not going to use them much, just keeping as an emergency spare pair.

Sound quality is great, love the design and very durable. I've bought this twice now and they've lasted me months longer than other earphones I've used. Very much worth the money.

Considering the price range these earbuds sit in, they do a decent job. The mic isn't going to compete with a full on gaming headset but the sound is more pleasant that you'd expect at this price bracket. The earbuds themselves sit comfortably in the ear and they're great for PS4 gaming chats and listening to audiobooks on my phone. An affordable option for people who have limited budgets but don't want to scrape the very bottom of the barrel on quality.
