It's cute
Having a cryptozoology themed birthday for husband, gonna put this bad boy(girl?) in a drink dispenser. Hefty weight, solid design, after the party I'm going to paint it and have it as a lil display piece. Lots of nice lil details too, the current paint job isn't too bad but the teeth details are a lil wonky and out of place. Looks just like the photo.

My son is a Dino expert at this point and specifically asked for this guy. He loves it!

Cool dinosaurs!
These are pretty cool, but definitely a bit on the smaller side.

I wish I had these when I was 6
Amazon asked how old the person I got this product for is. Well, I'm in my 50s. But I think I would have enjoyed it even more when I was 5 or 6. The toy dinosaurs we had back then were pretty rough looking compared to these! I love this mososaur and plesiosaur combination! And while there are some anatomical inaccuracies, they are more accurate than most I've seen... and they aren't being sold as museum quality recreations, either.I'll probably end up gifting them to a neighbor who's child is a lot younger than I am. At least I'll have had fun with them first, watching them attack my Black Pearl model ship! These ancient aquatic reptiles are mean looking, and they look ready for plenty of combat. The mososaur is especially cool, with a jaw that opens and closes cleanly and realistically. It even has sharp(ish) teeth! Nothing that would hurt you, but enough to look menacing. Not only that, but it has a tongue! The eyes are painted somewhat glossier than the rest of the toy, to make them look more realistic. There is a fantastic amount of detail to these toys, and they are hefty too. The plastic is tough and feels like it will withstand a lot of play.

Solid and crazy detailed
Got these as a gift for a toddler who is big into sharks and dinosaurs lately and they were a big hit. These things are big, solid, and detailed. The mosasaur has a moveable jaw and just looks great. These things are solid and the plastic is pretty stiff- they aren't like the hollow and rubbery animal toys you usually see in toystores. That means that they can do some damage if thrown around, so keep that in mind. The mosasaur especially has a lot of pointy parts that, while not sharp, will definitely get your attention if you step on it in the dark (or if you find it swinging at you.) Take this into consideration regarding your own kids and their play habits. All around these are just really cool, great toys.

Plesiosaurus
I've seen a lot of similar animal figures to these in craft stores and various places. They cost a bit more than some of the cheaper ones you see at Walmart and so on, but you are getting a much nicer sculpt and a better paint job for the price, so it's worth it to me. I bought some similar deep sea creatures on Amazon a while back, and now I have this, as well as the compsognathus and raptor from the same company, and they are all nice quality with a lot of detail. I took photos of the land dinosaurs in my yard, so I figured I'd take one of the plesiosaurus in the bath! Nice detail on the face of this one. Nice heavy vinyl figure.

Nice realism. Okay as toys
Got these for my 4 yr old as he is starting to like dinosaur. He liked the a lot and they seem very sturdy as well as painted very well. Very realistic looking. The only negative is that these don't make the best toys as there are no movable parts aside from the jaw on the bigger one (name aludes me) these would be good for older Dino enthusiasts that may want a nice shelf piece, or a Loch Ness enthusiast as the smaller one I belive is one basis of explanation for that mystery.

The mosasaurus is the nicer of the two
Both aqua dinosaur figures are solid plastic and sturdy in hand. They are well made and nicely detailed.MOSASAURUSThe mosasaurus measures 13" long and weighs 10.1 oz. The lower jaw is the only part of the figure that has any articulation. The mouth of the mosasaurus will stay shut and can be opened up to yield a 1" maw. The textured body is colored a dark gray-green with bluish gray highlights and brown ridges on its back. The eyes and mouth are very well painted. Overall the detail level is appreciatively quite high. No complaints, great figure!PLESIOSAURUSThe plesiosaurus measures just over 9" long and weighs 5.4 oz. Unfortunately no part of the figure has articulation. At its scale the head is probably too small to allow an opening jaw. The lightly textured body is gray tan highlights. The eyes are nicely painted. Overall the detail level is just about average and nowhere as detailed as its mosasaurus companion.Overall these two figures do make great additions to any kid's dinosaur collection. Definitely recommended.
