It's simple to use and well engineered.
The extruder is driven via a Solid brass buttress screw thread, body is Stainless Steel. The internal plunger, is a good fit into the cylinder (one would not expect an engineering fit). Absolutely perfect! Does the Job!

Great for soft dough i.e. sev, and bombay mix
Fine for making sev / bombay mix as it is a soft dough. In fact it worked really well. Not sure I would use it for pasta and certainly wouldn't use it for pressing fruit. You get what you pay for some time, and I mean that in a positive way.

Good quality but does not have a disk for string hoppers
This item is good for pasta or noodles but not for strings as the holes are too big. Disappointed

Item used for pressing pipe tobacco. Easy to keep clean and to use. Seems solid in construction should last.

Worst quality. Metal gets rusty really easily and make it unusable for food preparation. Avoid

Better invest in something better
I tried to make pasta, wanted especially Macaroni, which was not possible as the system doesn't make "closed" tubes and it would spread everywhere. Made Linguine, extremely hard to make and the tool seems to have some oil or something which didn't get removed with washing but stuck at the pasta! Really wait and.get a proper tool. This one is for the bin.

Nifty little gadget
Works a treat for making Murukka snacks.Apply oil or butter before use to lubricate. Easy to clean. Quick to use.Would recommend.

Needs a soft dough
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to press a variety of pastas and used my usual pasta recipe (1 egg + 100g flour).This seemed too stiff for the press and unfortunately the plastic attachment for macaroni/penne/etc. broke on first use.Hopefully I can get a replacement and try again.Please note that all instructions were in Chinese.
