Works well every time
Works well every time and it enabled me to attach multiple SSD's and SD card reader. The connections worked well. I could individually switch off or on as needed on connected devices. Its poRwwer was excellent and enabled me to connect Blue Ray Read Write drive and use same. I am using it with my newe 27" i7. 64 gig ram, 4 gig SSD, touchscreen HP all-in-one computer also purchased from Amazon. The new hub has greatly enhanced the capabilities and indexing capacities of my PC because it provides sufficient power and connection to add more external drives, which I have done. This product is my personal recommendation for a hub connector.

Excellent USB hub
First, minor gripes. 1) cord is about 3 feet long. Too short to reach back of computer. Ordered a 6 foot C to C cable. 2) Only has one C port. Love to have several rather than unneeded USB 2 ports.Plugged C cable into back of computer and plugged in outlet. No problems (except for too short C cable). Glad they included both A & C type. Nice if they were longer.PRO:Great to have both SD and Micro card readers.Gives me C as well as USB 3.0 A connections.3 power outlets work perfect to for charging my phone, tablet and USB fan. Each port has a separate on/off button. No problems with power cutting out or losing connection.Overall a fantastic buy for the money.Highly recommended.Very glad I bought it. I can use the two 3-foot cables for charging or data transfer so not wasted.

Adios wires and plugs!
I have millions of wires and adapters on my desk, and this device has made all of them go away nicely. It works seamlessly with my Dell docking station, and now I have only one power cord to plug into my personal or work laptop. Setup was a breeze and the flexibility it offers is fantastic. My desktop looks neat and organized and I feel more productive!

Awesome to be able to utilize my Thunderbolt 3 port to this USB Hub!
The only downfall I can see for this product is the BLUE LED LIGHTS to indicate the circuit is "ON" is not bright enough.

Well made and plenty of power
It has a nice, sturdy housing and plenty of power. I use it to power a Raspberry Pi and multiple system drives to run the computer. The switches make it easy to select which drive to use. They also make it easy to keep clones of system drives 'air gapped' for fast recovery from hacks or my own failed experiments. I never used the card readers, so no opinion about those. - So far I used it for six months without problems.

Had for a bit still works fine
So far so good not sure how long i have had it but working as expected. Some of the drivers have dropped before but they were drives that did not have their own power so I think its not good to have too many drives unless they have a dedicated power supply

The switches controller power are mixed up
The media could not be loaded. Update: The seller has contacted me after my return. They found a defect in some of their units that matched the description of my issue. They were quick to provide an apology and offered a replacement. Their customer service is pretty great.----------------------------------I bought this to use with an eGPU setup. We were using a Sabrent 7 ports + 3 charging port hub which worked great with a desktop setup but once we switched to a laptop + eGPU, we needed more. I normally wouldn't buy from a brand we don't know but this offered some USB-C ports, charging ports and SD card reader. The build quality is amazing and I like the option of USB-C to A or C. I didn't like the buttons being soft switches vs hardwire switches. My concerns were justified once I plugged it in to test. Most of the buttons will work for their according USB port but some would turn on/off entirely different ports. I uploaded a video so you can see.I did end up figuring out a way to fix it: Turn off all the ports (unplugging does not achieve that, as it will remember which ports were on). Then use a single device as a test. In my case, I used a USB reading light. Plug it in to one port, turn it on, then turn it off. then keep going to the next one. Eventually I was able to have each button power on/off its corresponding port. But I will still be returning this and get a bigger hub from Sabrent or another better known brand. Even if I managed to fix it for now, I can't trust this hub to work reliably.

Great Powered USB Hub
This is exactly what my system needed. I can turm on and off each individual port without the need to unplug and plug in a device that for whatever reason stops working and I usd to need to unplug it and reinsert it into the port. Keeps my essential devices powered up.and runnibg great. I now have plenty of USB ports and not have to think of uinplugging a device to use another one. I highly recommen it.
