Toylike in appearance but does actually work.
This thing looks like a toy and feels like a toy I must say. However it does work. It's sufficient for my needs as I'm by far mechanic but with something I needed at the time and it more than served its purpose. For what I paid for it which is next to nothing I think it's okay.

1st assessment
At 1st look, seems OK. Set dip switch for 36v, connected to battery ‘bank’…. instructions said it would ‘blink 3 times’ to confirm dip switch set & correct (36v) voltage, then, display battery state of charge…. it did.

Only worked a week...
Installed it and it initially worked fine for just over a week. The last time it worked it flashed and then nothing. Checked it and it smelled like burned plastic.

Requires a recess mounting area
The meter has not be activated because I am concerned about wiring area behind my old Murray tractor. This looks to be well made electrically. Good solid solders. Very good quality fittings. Good instructions.I should have looked before ordering for a mounting plan B. It's an old tractor and a external mounting box would be fine but I can not find one to fit it and then I could glue or whatever it to the dash. If I can't get it to fit in the hole I have my backup plan was not well thought out. There are many round external mounts so that may be what I end up with. Just be aware that you must have enough room behind your gauge also, if not you are not going to enjoy your meter. They give you measurements but don't show the extra room needed on backside. I figured I would just order a mount, I could not find one to buy
