Needed a door stop that was slightly longer than standard so that the door could swing to almost 180 degrees open, but not hit a small shelf on the wall behind the opened door. Comes with 2 ways to install: a single center butterfly type anchor or two screws with drywall anchors. I installed straight into wooden baseboards using the 2 screws, but opted not to use the drywall anchors. The base of the doorstop is slightly larger than the baseboards, so it sticks up a bit, but perfect other than that!

I needed an 8 inch to stop the bathroom door from hitting a towel rail. I mounted it to a baseboard. It feels strong and sturdy and I have no doubt will last a long time.

Great door stop. Perfect if you need one a little longer than the standard 3-4 inch ones. It's nice and solid and easy to install. It also looks nice.

Finally, our doorknob won’t threaten to break the mirror we put up in the closet anymore. This was exactly what I needed as the original door stop wasn’t cutting it. Every time we’d open it it would hit it, which was really annoying. Installation was a piece of cake-I ended up using the existing hole for the old door stop to drill the plate/screw on then easily attached the rest.

Our lovely new door was arguing with our existing door stop which resulted in the new door handle slamming against the closet door handle...our original door stop was too short to intervene. This 6 inch door stop came to the rescue. Easy to install...I just used the one hole from the original door stop instead of drilling a second hole for the new attachment plate and that was enough to secure it...does the job and looks great. Plus the stop feels sturdy and good quality. Highly recommended.
