Aquarium Air Bubbler Glass Cup - Stop Bubble Sputtering Protector

This thing is elegant, very classy and does what it says, provides oxygen to the fish. No more scraping off the crud next to the airstone-yay! It is big, so pay attention to the product dimensions. I’m using it in a 55 and it’s just perfect. I bought a second one for my 22 long.

Beautiful glass working and it does its job, keeping the water from sputtering, which is nice. Cuts down on bubble surface noise considerably. Sits prettily and is easy peasy to set up. It is an excellent piece for minimalist aquariums and set ups leaning more towards the natural look. Being glass it is very delicate so you'll need to take that into account when cleaning. I did accidentally knock mine against the side of the aquarium while attempting to put the suction cups on, but luckily it suffered no damage.

the connection from the glass tubing to the air stone is too small, had to cut a piece of the tubing used for the aerator to connect the two. Did not risk trying to piece the stine and glass tubing together, seems a bit fragile but hasn't cracked so far from me handling it.

Product looks nice and functions well but beware, it is extremely brittle. It shattered when trying to remove the airline hose from the inner piece and it cut me. I even warmed up the tubing with hot water before attempting to use it.

It looks great and it works sort of OK having a hard time keeping the air stone connected with an air tube on the bottom. It keeps falling off and I’ve tried to put more air tubing on the piece of glass and somehow it just keeps falling off, so I’m thinking of gluing, the air tubing to the glass part and the air stone so I’m still able to change the air stone if I need to, but if they can add a piece of glass ring where the tube will be connected to it should help otherwise I would give it five stars

Amazing product. I'm able to remove my tank cover from my fishtank without the worry of water splashing the glass of the LED lights from the bubbles!!! Don't mind the empty tank as I'm in the middle of a redo!!! I'd recommend soaking the glass in hot water for 10-20 min to remove the hoses for cleaning!!!! Don't use cheap airline that get hard after time as you will snap the glass!!!

Edit: During my first attempt to clean the item, it broke and cut my hand pretty badly... When I went to replace the item once again, they had increased the price... I'm done with this product. Lowering my rating to 2 stars. Still a cool item in theory, but execution really left quite a lot to be desired. **Something worth noting, the replacement they sent me for the original one that arrived broken also took almost 3 weeks to get here...Straw inside the cup arrived broken, but I'm going through the exchange process now. Hope round 2 works a bit better.As other reviews have mentioned, the suction cup mounts are quite high up on the cup itself. In future versions I hope they'll be placed a bit lower. Although I didn't install the broken unit on my tank, I imagine I'd need to drop the water level on my rimless tank a bit so I'd be able to place the cup correctly.One of the two airstones included also arrived with a fair amount of gunk already stuck on it. This could've come off when put into the tank, not sure though. Worth noting though.Jardli is the only readily available manufacturer of this product (from what I've seen) so not a ton of options. This piece of equipment is also not required.

This bubbler works fantastic! It is quiet, nearly silent. I have it connected to the Eheim 200 air pump and using in a 20L fish only tank. I do like to keep my filled close to the top. Because of this the Bubbler discharge hole burps; the noise is annoying. I solved this by finely twisting some filter floss and inserting into the discharge hole, adjusted just enough to silence the burbing; it works!
