WORST NO QUALITY AT ALL!
The media could not be loaded. WORST" the commercial looks perfect knife to buy but unfortunately its the other way around, i used my knife for the first time all of them seems to work well, they were sharp as a matter of fact i tested it with slicing paper then tried with vegetables, fruits and meat as well however after three days i tried to slice orange using the santoku KNIFE super dull it can not slice the way it was before. no star deserve this product i need to return them but unfortunately i need to pay for the shipping cost since i am not in the USA i am in SAUDI ARABIA so definitely i wont waste my money just to return this useless item. as they say looks can be deceiving.

Exquisitely designed steak knives.
Good value for the money. We prefer these knives because of the ease of sharpening. The weighted handles fit so nicely in your hand. Great addition to our flat-wear set.

Not as good as other reviewers say
Handle is hollow and they are light. Knives feel on the cheaper side. Came out of the box not particularly sharp. Back of cutting edge is 2mm thick. "Forged" description might be a bit misleading. These knives are most likely made from forged steel (low temp forging what they claim) but they might be stamped into final product. I cannot say for sure. Just for comparison, Messermeister (US brand actually made in Germany using hot forging process) are slightly more expensive but you can see and feel that they are better quality than these knives. They are nowhere near Wusthof, but again you pay much more for the real German stuff.I did some digging on the brad and these are not Japanese knives. They are Chinese. I am not sure why they got glowing 5-start reviews. In the end they are slightly overpriced for the quality you get ($69 for 6 knives). If they were a bit cheaper ($49 for 6 knives) they would be better value and I would have given it 4 stars. For $39 I would have given it 5-stars since at that price point they would be great value. In the end, these are OK knives but do not expect German or Japanese quality (I have quality kitchen knives from both countries and can compare).Update 04/14/23: The seller offered me full refund for these knives. I am grateful for their offer but I do not think it would be fair to get my money back. They sold me a product and I am using it. Their offer though gave me a confidence that they are standing behind their product and I will consider their products in the future.

Fantastic steak knives
These knives are truly fantastic! They have literally replaced the steak knives that were in my knife block. I like the silver color I got, but I think the smokey grey ones would have been more to my liking (personal preference). The blades and handles are not separate but all one piece, which I like because handles tend to come loose over time. These were delivered SHARP! Please be aware of this. I cut myself getting them out of the box...no fault of the packaging or seller. I underestimated how sharp they would be out of the package and grabbed one in a way that caused a knick. They came with tip covers to protect you. These are steak knives but I tried them on steak, sliced a tomato, sliced some cheese, and diced some onions and I was not disappointed! They cut clean, no snags, didn't have to press hard to get through anything. I highly recommend these! They are nicely crafted and work very well on a lot of things.

Not stainless steel
Knifes are not magnetic as stainless steel is not magnetic. False Advertising!
