I just replaced 11 cans from square LED 5000K lights to these and I must say, they are great. The install is very easy (replacement LED recessed lights are easy to install) - took me about 30 mins to replace all. The ability to select color is not important to me.. I just use it at 5K, but its good to have for the price. The functionality is idiot proof.. just takes a bit to get used to the concept. Essentially - everytime you turn on after a while it lights up in bright center light. To turn on the night light, you just toggle on-off-on within 5 seconds. just a FYI, the night light is only in 2700K color temp. It looks really really cool.. the night light is not too bright, it is basically a yellow glow. The center lights are surprisingly very bright.When I picked this, there were no reviews (thats why I am writing it) but what I liked about these lights, is the night light is within the baffle, instead of on the top of the baffle which makes it protrude out from ceiling. This looks clean.Having said that, I did have one of the 12 lights that did not work - the night light would not light up. I'm ok with that.. 1/12 is not bad. But I will reach out to customer service and see if they can fix the issue and update here.

These lights are great . It updates your can lights looks and has a choice of light settings and the night light part is just a bonus. Love going into the kitchen at night with just the night lights on plenty of light to see what you are doing but not blinding you . I highly recommend them !!

Installing 12 of these took less than a half hour in my kitchen. The spring clips work perfectly for existing can lights and allow you to pull the housing down enough to make adjustment to the color control switch. The night light feature is a family favorite that provides just enough to fill the room, but not so bright as to blind early morning eyes. The housings are well finished and don't look cheap. They are a perfect addition to our home and I will be buying another set to replace every can bulb I own.

These lights are very easy to use and dim nicely. Did toggle between nightlight and normal light one simply turns the light switch on and off once and they switch. Turn the light switch on and off again and they switch back.The main lights dim from very bright to almost imperceptibly lit. This is a nice range for such an inexpensive bulb.Installation is very simple. Simply screw the pigtail that comes with the lights into the existing socket of your recessed fixture. The fixture will also have two tanks that the springs connect to to hold the old rings. The springs that come with the lights slide easily into those tanks and are made for them. This holds the light securely in place and firmly against the ceiling. it took me about 20 minutes to install five of them.The little nightlight ring is nice as well. It gives off just enough light to be useful while watching a movie or as a nightlight. A room full of these is sort of like being in a theater.I gave it four stars instead of five because the color temperature of the nightlight mode is a little bit too orange for my taste. It’s not terrible and I am OK with it, but I would like it if it was a little higher color temp. I would say the nightlight is somewhere in the neighborhood of 2000 K and the regular light I have set up for 2700 K

I absolutely love this. I waited months before installing because I was thinking it was going to be annoying to install but it was such an easy installation. I recommend this. I plan to get dimmers for it only because the dimmer needs to be bit brighter in the kitchen. I have this installed all over my house and some are in my bedroom and hallways and the light dim works in those areas work but not in the kitchen for my liking.
