Expired product?
It did have a slightly musty smell on the top layer of product, like an old tester or like it had been sitting in a warehouse for too long. But I removed this layer and it still smells great and is way, way cheaper than it is at Ulta. This is my favorite body scrub. It smells like oranges and has a great scrubby and moisturizing texture.
