I think because of the nice band (it’s covered with fabric rather than just a rubber band) it slips off really easily. Adorable tho!

Although these are adorable and I love the overall cuteness lol, I have to watch my dog all the time when she wear these little pompoms. They slip off so easily (and I make the loop pretty tight... 4 times around). I saw them in her mouth a few times and the chasing game begins everytime. They look so cute on her, but I cannot use them unless we go out and I dress her up and take them off when we get home.
