The only socks you need
I'm a mobile mechanic who is on his feet quite a lot, I wear out socks pretty fast, these so far have been the most comfortable socks I've owned, the only problem is they do seem to fall down quickly, that may just be due to my own legs though. Definitely worth the extra price over your generic boot socks. I'll update when they eventually break, everything does. So far so good

Great Quality
Excellent socks except the sock all about two sizes small than described hard to fit when putting on but tall and and very comfortable and supportive my legs/ calf’s feel great after a 12 hour shift on my feet.

These are my go to work sock.
With the title in mind I'd like to start off this review with my thoughts after my first purchase.I purchased these socks after needing to find something more durable that wouldn't slide around in my boots. I bought the XL's and when they arrived I was VERY surprised at how small they were. They were extremely tight on feet as well, Almost dress sock feeling with how thin they were. This first order also came with 3 of each sock. Why? Am I meant to wear them mismatched? no idea. Long story short is I didn't think I would like them but after actually wearing them all day they became my favorite sock somehow.2nd purchase. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. They didn't come with 3. They actually came with the Carhartt packaging and these actually felt padded. After wearing them both I can say I can't really tell the difference except they feel different to the touch.Did I get fake pairs on my first purchase? No idea. Just beware. I like them either way, but you might not.

The toe takes minor adjustment every wear
Great boot socks. Heavy with extra padding in the toe and heel. If you're new to them, you might find they like to crawl up or leave one end of your toes exposed to a steel cap. It doesn't take much effort, just leave a little slack in the toe ends and make sure the sock is fully adjusted so the elastic behind the toe pad catches your toes in the knuckle. Wore them with steel toed boots for an 8 hour stretch in 90+ degrees, with plenty of physical activity - no problem. They work GREAT in winter too!

Machinist Approved!!!
My husband is a machinist and was coming home from work each day incredibly sore and with swollen feet. I didn't realize that there were socks to go with steel toed boots until very recently and when I saw they were Carhart brand, I was confident they would work. He has worn them every day this week and says his feet are sweating less, aren't nearly as sore as before & the swelling has gone down! And I appreciate that his feet seem to not smell as much now lol. He says they provide a lot of cushioning & appreciates that they go up to mid-calve as it also helps with soreness there. I ordered the big & tall size for him as his boots are a 10.5. They were a little big but that was to be expected & I would rather have them too big than too small. I'll definitely be ordering more! Thank you Carhart for helping him feel better!!!

Better than regular socks
I wear steel toe shoes and they rub the top of my feet. I didn’t know they made socks for steel to shoes. These are better than regular socks but Carhartt makes a thicker version called mid-weight steel toe
