Must try for side sleepers
Ordered two of these pillows and have had nothing less than a great experience. The pillows are very soft but still supportive and provide a comfortable position for side sleepers. The design is a bit odd at first, but does a great job for its intended purpose. I bought two pillows for the price of one that I would get somewhere else and can agree that these are a great value for my money.

Neck Pain Relieved Glory!
I got this pillow 3 months ago but I wanted to wait to try it before I wrote a review. This is because I have tried several options (some expensive & some average price) all of them promising on TV or online or in store—neck pain relief—but none of them delivered all they advertised :( This was very frustrating, time consuming shopping & waste of money; not to mention painful! I don’t have a neck injury, my theory is that my neck pain may be from stress, carrying heavy items and the pressure on my spinal cord, and spending hours on my PC doing remote work looking down at my keyboard. From what I’ve read others no matter what age experience neck pain and need a special pillow to treat their neck pain. I didn’t even know neck pain was a thing until I began to experience it and read of others’ pillow pain stories; for years I’ve never paid attention to the type of pillows I purchased for my household! This pillow has totally cured my neck pain and I even look forward to laying my head on it every day. Everything in the description is accurate except the sides are not as shown in the video; there’s not enough space to actually place my thin arms around it, the two parts are sewn too closely together to wrap my arms around the pillow. However, that’s not a deal breaker for me because I purchased it for neck comfort and pain relief and it does that for sure. I love how it shapes to my head contour, doesn’t flatten and reshapes itself after I’ve laid on it. It is the perfect thickness not too bulky or foam thin. It is fragrance free, no manufacturer chemical smell. I am very grateful that because of this pillow: I can have a restful sleep overnight. Or, I just place it on the couch, prop it up, relax, and read a book, with my neck not cramping :) Joy!

Softer than other Similar Pillows
I already had a pillow similar to this pillow which caused problems of literally making a hole in the back of my hair because of the stiffness of the pillow. I have chronic neck pain due to a cervical spine fusion. My daughter had purchased this pillow and suggested it to me because she knew it would help cradle my neck like my previous pillow but was alot softer, and more flexible than my previous pillow. I am really appreciating the cradling of my neck, however am still struggling with getting my head to securely fit inside the ample sized pillow. I seem to wind up finding myself sliding out of it and awakening with the back of my head on the lip of the pillow. I am not giving up on it because initially when I lie down on it it truly holds my neck and head in place. I would encourage this manufacturer to reduce the edge size for more easy usage as well as considering installating a heating and/or cooling element into this edge. Very good quality.

Comfortable Neck Pillow
It is very comfortable for me and I have only been using this pillow since I purchased it. I like the shape very much and have not woken up with neck pain since I began using it.

Beware of smell.
The pillow stinks. After 5 days and even trying to air it out outside its terrible. The smell hasn't gone away so far even a little bit. I haven't washed the cover yet so hoping that might help. Other than that I like the level of firmness but it's just a little bit too flat for my comfort. The shape is good so 3 stars.

ACTUALLY *IS* the best and only option I've found (so far) that doesn't cause cervical pain!
***As close as I can find to my perfect solution***after trying 5 different pillows similar to this general shape. My 35 yr old temperpedic memory foam pillow needed to be replaced. I've tried >10 pillows with a 2 being tolerable, and 7 being excruciating neck-breakers that after a week caused severe disabling pain throughout the days when I previously did not have any. I had no idea how unique that pillow was and it's take a loooong anything process to find another suitable pillow that will work. I hate feeling so specific and dependent on a pillow. I seem to be ok with whatever a few days, but more than that and my sleep quality, duration and discomfort the following days will suffer. So THIS (and only this) pillow absolutely DID alleviate my rotten cumulative neck pain. That said, it's unnecessarily annoying in other ways:•The arm wings are extraneous and offer nothing anotomically supportive.•The width of the pillow makes it difficult to squeeze into a pillow case which then compresses and this compromises the function of the foam.•The hight at the back could have been done with the width of a standard pillow case's dimensions in mind.•It's ugly. I really don't want to look at the goofy shape splat white and gray shape on my bed and I don't want to have to take the entire pillow off the bed to find a place for it away from the cat or dog when I make the bed reach and every morning. Considering aesthetics, it's a fail. _(And it just doesn't have to be!)_The only thing that makes this pillow differently successful is the low height in the head bowl, the lower cervical support edge and the ability to remove about an inch of foam from the back of the head bowl area. The high back side is way too high for a healthy cervical spine to sleep on all night unless the person has an unaddressed severely pronated cervical spine (as many of us do from crappy forward flexed postural demands from life driving/computing/texting/assembling/etc.) —Can you tell I'm a manual therapist?—The only thing the high side *might* be good for is reading *before* sleep.Other than that- I've given up on funding THE pillow and will settle for modifying this one in the following ways:•Taking an electric turkey knife to trim the "fat" off the foam— remove the arm wings, and shave about an inch of the length of the back side.• Mark when my ears lie, and punch 2 string threads through both of the higher sides of the head bowl for side-sleeping, and add buttons to pinch that area down toward the bottom. I'd love to use snaps if I can find they correct type.• Resew the inner liner and case to accommodate the end result.I'll update with pics when it's done and report whether the mods actually improved or missed the mark.
