I recently started making candles. The smaller wax candle melters take forever and also are hard to use. I decided to purchase this item to hopefully make thing easier to make my candles. This thing holds a bunch of wax, and once melted you just turn the knob and the candle wax just goes right into jar, or whatever you are making candles in. I am so glad I got this melting pot, it has made making candles a breeze. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Would buy it again. I love making candles with this item. I recommend this item to anyone

The media could not be loaded. I had a problem with my machine soaring to very high temps and ruining wax. The video shows after I poured all the wax out, the steam and overheating issue. So Hot, wax was burning. I contacted customer support and they promptly got back with me. They tried to help me troubleshoot to no avail. They sent me a new machine and I’ve not had any trouble. When it comes to a good wax melter this is the one. When working properly. Thank you Toauto!

I’ve only used mine a couple of times due to it not getting as hot as advertised. I do like the size, the design and the ease of use. However, my wax needs to be heated to 210 and I bought this specific model because it advertises that. While the temperature display on the device says it’s 210-215, my thermometers say otherwise. I used a regular wax thermometer, another thermometer and a laser thermometer to test just to be sure I was accurate. None of them have ever been able to get a reading above 199. By the time the wax gets into my pouring pitcher, it’s 185-180 and I can’t use it with temps that low. My oils need to be added hotter. I can’t use this for my candle company. I’ve reached out to ToAuto via email so hopefully this will be addressed and resolved.Edited to add: seller did issue me a refund.

I plugged in the melter and it beeped but wouldn’t display anything digitally. After 10 minutes the digital display came on. When I try to push the buttons to change the temperature it doesn’t do anything. I’m very surprised at this after reading all the great reviews before buying this wax melter. I will be returning it.

I received a new wax melter and it works great. I like that the drainage hole is in the middle of the unit, it is so easy to clean this way. I had some issues with the first unit, but that is because it was damaged in shipment. The bottom was cracked however, I was sent another immediately and it works well. I am so glad to see that this company stands behind their product. I was also e-mailed, along with a video on how to set the temperature. This company wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the product. I applaud you for your diligence with my purchase.

I am not a fan at all. Set the temp to 203 and I use my digital thermometer to measure the actual temperature which reads 196. I’m fine with this, I understand the actual temperature can vary + or - 10 degrees! My issue is by the time I fill up my pouring pitcher the wax is only at 173 degrees, I need it to be at 185 to mix my fragrance oils. How is it the goes goes from 196 degrees to 173 by the time I pour 16oz in the pouring pitcher?? So then I have to poor the wax back into the melter and try again. And the same thing happens, again and again. I’m mind blown, I’ve owned 3 different melters and this is the ONLY one I’ve ever had this problem with. I’ve been making candles for 7 years and this is a first. I don’t know what to say other than personally, I wouldn’t buy this unit again.

Owning a candle company as a small business, I didn't have 100s to drop on a super expensive wax melter. My last one lasted for about 1500 lbs of wax before the heating element died, so we upgraded to this. So far I LOVE IT. The tank is insulated so it holds heat well (and I don't burn my hand on it if I touch it - yes, I am that person). It also has the drainage spout exit through the bottom of the tank so the whole tank empties. My other one had it empty on the side towards the bottom, so there was always a little Residual wax stuck in the bottom of the tank.
