Power LED is great to check that the cable is directing the correct power from mains or adapter for device. This is a Thunderbolt and does perform laptop to dock connections and HD monitor to dock connection. Performs super fast charge. Very reasonably priced.

Well built, display OK, went up to 140w the max capacity of my devices. Delivered on time as advertised

Build quality is excellent. The port ends are longer than usual, about 55mm long; about half of this is the flexible tail, and the other half is the metal housing. I do wonder is this is to give some surface area to the ports when transferring the higher power levels, as I'd imagine they get warm.The cable itself is braided, which means that it feels very tough, but is also a little 'reluctant' to change position; it's not inflexible, it's just not very floppy. It is also thicker than 'normal' cables.It happily charged my laptop at it's maximum (60W) power rate - I have nothing more demanding than that to test with I'm afraid!Transfer speeds were nowhere near the theoretical 40Gbps limit (they never are); measured at around 1.7Gbps (210MB/s), which is actually pretty decent; I've have also recently reviewed some USB 4 cables that transferred data at half that rate.The power reading seems to work well enough; I've nothing to measure it against. Interesting to see though.Packaging had the cable in a 'recyclable' plastic pocket, inside a cardboard box, all shrink wrapped in plastic. I feel that at least one of those plastic layers was unnecessary.

Display on the cable is broken

This cable is incredibly stiff and doesn't flop around but keeps its form, even if you bend it, which might be a good thing in some circumstances, but personally, I found it a little too awkward to snake around my setup. That being said, it is a very strong braided cable and offers some truly astonishing transfer speeds. Thanks to the support of USB 4.0, it can transfer data at speeds of up to 40Gbps, not only that, but it also supports high-speed charging of up to 240W, and you can connect it from your laptop to an external monitor to mirror and extend the screen in up to 8k at 60Hz or 4k at 144Hz.The small LED readout display is a good feature that enables you to monitor the power usage which can come in handy. The display light has an aqua colour that is fairly bright and lights up instantly upon connection. Unfortunately, the cable is fairly short but nonetheless, this is a fantastic product.

The SOOPII USB 4 Cable with LED display is great, it’s just a USB C lead that supports the fast USB 4 format allowing for fast data transfer and power delivery but they’ve added an easy to read LED to one side so you can see exactly how much power or data is being pushed through. This makes it ideal for testing items that don’t look as if they are charging as it shows that the charger and lead are both working and how much power is being drawn.I just wish all usb leads had this.

I received damaged cable. Display on the top doesn't work.

This is a very good quality cable, capable of both high data transfer speeds and power delivery. The LED screen a nice touch to see you're receiving the expected chargeThe braided cable is suitably thick, suggestive of quality gauge cable inside. And the mini LED screen on the USB end shows electric power in watts; good to see if your devices are receiving the advertised power (but remember that devices will reduce power intake as they near capacity).Stated capacity is 240w. I tested to 60w, and had no problems handling that load.
