Pichoda, the most eye-catching traditional bridal attire , is a precious gift to the bride during her marriage ceremony by her mother as well as by mother-in-law. Women wear the Pichora for the first time in their marriage, its a symbol of the synergy of a married woman in uttarakhand, after which it becomes a ritual for a married women to wear it on all special religious occasions like Namkaran, Yagyopaveet sanskar (janyo) and festivals and social ceremonies etc. In the entire uttrakhand, you would notice on the auspicious occasions, women wear a reddish color ( polka dotted)and bright yellow ( saffron) color ‘’Dupatta.’’ , it is called pichodi, Pichora or Rangwali Pichora. It is a prized possession of every woman in uttarakhand and holds the same importance for women of Uttarakhand as Chuda holds for Punjabi bride, while Shakha and Pola for a Bengoli bride. A swastika is drawn at the centre of pichora with crimson/red dyes. All the four quadrants of the swastika are decorated with sun, conch, bell and goddesses.

Pathetic, bad, very bad and defective product.
I did not want to give any rating. Reciving defective product the manufacturer making this product very smartly he put some extra matireal in defective place I buy it for my marriage function today I saw the duppta and now I am feeling so disappointed and angry.
