Our unfinished basement only has 6 lights for 1800sq ft. Found these at work one day and decided to buy some! Only bought 4 and that’s all I needed! My basement is so bright now! Would buy again!

Got the 2 pack only needed 1 to replace failed light in sodium vapor street lite ( repurposed by removing ballast), old lite lasted over 45,000 hours, hope this one does too, 5 th star for longevety.

I bought these bulbs to use in my barn. They are very bright and I think they will definitely help with my electric bill. I think they are going to be a great buy.

They started to smoke

When I selected this to review, I thought it was a normal-sized bulb with an adapter so you could put it into a mini-socket like a chandelier or vanity light.Nope.These things are huge. like a short 2-liter bottle. See picture #1.Picture #2 shows the store room without the corn light on, just the LED farther back (flush-mount, so can't swap it out for a corn light), and my phone is making up for the dimness. It's pretty dim.Picture #3 shows how much more light it adds, even with the phone camera's lighting auto-adjustment.When I took a picture of the light (#4), it dazzles the camera just like it dazzles my eyes. Leaves after images if you look at it for even a second.Definitely bright. One will definitely light up any reasonable-sized space. With two, I'd consider wearing sunscreen (joke!).The listing says something about removing a ballast. I just screwed it in, flipped the switch, and it works fine.My only concern is that it is larger, so it hangs down farther than a regular bulb. That means when I'm carrying boxes (like Christmas storage and fake Christmas tree) in and out, I have to be a little more careful to make sure I don't hit it. I don't think it's that big of a deal, but it is worth noting.Also, because it is significantly bigger, it is significantly heavier. It might not work as well in a lamp suspended from an arm or a wire. Make sure the socket is well-supported.

These things are super bright. Like really really bright. My garage looks like the Manhattan Project.They come with an adapter because the light's socket base itself is a larger size I haven't seen before. The adapter makes it regular light bulb socket size.One of my bulbs burnt out after two or three weeks of pretty infrequent usage. I don't know why or what it means, but the second one is still functional.

I installed this bulb in my garage and it's super bright. It's too bright for a normal day, but it works great when I work on something in the garage that requires extra lighting. They are also energy efficient and I don't see any big change in my electricity bill.
