Built to a standard.
Not a model available in UK hence the EU plug. Well made and nicely balanced.Good metal covers and guards, not the cheap normal Chinese pressings like most of the generic models on the market. EU plug but easily changed. This is Chinese built but to Bosch's standard not a relabelled generic model. Performs as others have said, recommended.

A nice grinder, but beware non-UK plug from Amazon
Please note - as of 24/05/2018 Amazon EU S.a.r.L are providing these with EU plugs not UK plugs sold through the .co.uk website. It is quite a common problem with Amazon's own stock supplying EU Bosch tools to the UK market so if that is a concern for you then buy elsewhere. If not it is very easy to open it up and replace the cable (needs spade connectors fitted to all cores). Bosch service centre will send you the UK cable if you ask them and explain the circumstances.The grinder is otherwise as you would expect. There is plenty of power for general bench work. I've tested it with finishing the cut ends of stainless steel rods and putting a new edge on a chisel and it did both jobs easily. Both fine and coarse wheels and spark guards come pre-fitted. You need to fit the ancillary bits yourself. The feet appear to be non-marking at least on a melamine surface, and are the sleeve kind with central holes so you can screw the grinder down without having to remove (and lose) the feet, but can pop them off to give a flush aluminium base if needed.
