Simple and Effective Design - Assembly is not for everyone
The first photo shows the box and the parts laid out on a table. I had no idea that a shoe rack this large could be condensed into such a small box. While there are a lot of parts, there are only a few different types. Once you get the pattern figured out it goes pretty quick. The manufacturer included a set of white gloves, presumably to protect you from getting cut on the edge of a tube. However, if you are the type of person where this could happen to you, then this project probably isn't for you. A rubber mallet is required. If you don't own one, then once again, this may not be for you. Using a few soft taps with the mallet to secure the tubes into the plastic fittings the job goes pretty quick. I added (not supplied) eight felt feet for the base of the unit to avoid scratching the floors. The unit is surprisingly sturdy when assembled. The unit is tall and must be secured to a wall. I used large zip ties (not supplied). It is not kid proof - if a kid climbs on it, it will likely bend the thin tubes. It holds shoes great and the combo of short and tall shelves works well. The top rack is solid for heels. Ladies shoes fit 2 pair per cube (6 pair across). Men's wide shoes or boots mostly fit 2 per cube, but are little snug or overlapped. This rack organized a fairly messy portion of my garage. Should have done it years ago.

From 2023 to 2025 they changed and do not link anymore
I wish I had found this product years ago!! I linked two together and finally have some control over the insane amount of shoes we have for 2 people! I would have lined my garage with these when my kids still lived at home.UPDATE: I originally purchased 2 of these about 6 months apart (early/mid 2023). They (then had 4 rods for the length of each section, making them deeper for larger shoes (my kids wear size 12+), and they worked great! I wanted to connect another one to mine, so I reordered in March '23. However, they only have 3 rods, making them more shallow, less sturdy, and you can no longer connect them. I dropped my review from 5 to 3 because of this. If you are just now buying them, I suggest you buy at least two sets if you want them for storage, they are inexpensive and fairly sturdy. They would be great for lightweight shoes and board games. I saw where other buyers placed sturdy placemats purchased at the dollar store over them and used them for books and just better storage.

Sturdy but shaky
I bought this for keeping all shoes neatly in one place and am not disappointed. Its really handy and useful for people with small spaces and can use your garrage to keep this rack.Installation took some time, instructions are not straight forward but still manageable. Its not that heavy but neither light after built.Height is approx 6.5 ft after built(model1) and width as per spec. Its quite sturdy and looks preety with some hooks to hand shoes stuff and some occasional party wear boots for kids and women(designer) which you want inside a packet to protect from dust and use rarely. However, if you want to move the rack after set up, be careful, pick from bottom else it might come off and thats why a star less since its joints holding is not that great.I am liking it so far and serves my purpose to fullest. Its 500% better than cheaper stuff we get in Ross or 99cents or walmart under $10 which hardly stand at all. This is recommended product and go for it.

So worth it!
The media could not be loaded. I want to start by saying that I've added pics of my closet from before purchase, during the build, and after completed.Although they provide the steps to build this 3 different ways, common sense allows you to build it pretty much however you want once you see how the parts connect. So I was able to "custom" fit it to how I wanted it in my closet and allow the other storage I had to work with it.It's super light but feels sturdy for smaller storage boxes. For clothing or stiletto shoes, the narrow rods probably won't hold them up, so I used shoe boxes and cut them up to make sturdier flat surfaces. If you know beforehand how many tall items/boots you'll have, you can build for those spaces! It worked out PERFECTLY for me.The package came with a few extra parts, it was fairly easy to build, and holds quite a lot! I LOVE how it looks now.

Great for my needs
The media could not be loaded. Worked out great for my space and what I needed. Lots of small parts but just make sure you lock them in using a Mallet or something soft to tap them into place. I bought 2 because I have more sneakers than the average person. I zip tied them together and they are solid. I wear a 8/8.5 in women’s shoes so you can see I got 2 per shelf.

Patience
We like the shoe rack very much, however it does take patience to put it together. My hubby and I did it together and at first was like "wow" but it came together good. The photo on the Amazon Site helped us alot.
