I used it to replace the end on my laptop charger. The old cable only had 3 wires, so some of the wires were left unused.

Not 4ft long!
There are two misstatements in the description: 1) they are 1 ft long, not 4 ft, and 2) the red and black wires are the only ones that are 20 gauge, the others are maybe 22 gauge. The gauge was not a problem but the length was barely long enough. Other than that, they look and feel to be good quality.
