Don't buy it
It looks like it was made out of an old tin can - not stainless steel. Instructions were in what I think Russian. Arrived missing thermometer. Returned immediately.

The form is perfect. All you need is a good recipe.
This is a very high quality meat form/mold. What I particularly like is that it's all stainless steel. I've stoped using anything aluminum for cooking for safety purposes. So, steel is great. This is extremely easy to use and wash. I make formed ham (Duncan Henry's recipe from you tube) To use it, just pack the meat in it, add the spring and plate and lid. Then cook it in a pot water. Since I raise my own pigs, I feel like I can provide a much better formed ham deli slice by using this form. Of course you can always use high quality purchased ham as well. And it will always be better than deli slices. The form has a strong spring inside to compress the meat while it cooks so you don't get any air bubbles. The thermometer is obviously necessary too, so you know when youve gotten your meat fully cooked. The thermometer is waterproof (steamproof). This looks like it makes a small amount of meat, but it's actually a lot. Just think how much meat 2 lbs of deli meat is.I do recommend this, for the fun, and the health.

Perfect for homemade spam
I found a recipe on youtube for homemade spam and I got this to make it. Spam has gotten soooo expensive, even the generic kind of spam. Between the price of it and not knowing whats in it, I decided to start making my own. It's super easy with this little tool that keeps the ground meat compressed. I've only made the basic recipe so far and it was BETTER than the original, and I look forward to making some variations by adding various spices and seasonings to the mixture. I love this thing!
