Accurate BMS w/ Charge & Discharge cutoffs.
Overall, no complaints or dislikes with the chip. This BMS board works well unlike others which had cut off parameters outside of acceptable limits. I charged a 4s5p pack at 8A CC to 16V, then dropped amps down to 4A CC for final charge out. charger was around 4A CC / 17.6V VC when BMS kicked out. Pack tests at 16.67V. Im confident if i dropped charge current down to 1A that the pack would test out to the 16.8 to 16.9V per manufacturer cutout (noted as per series in the specs)The instructions are simple. I like the 5x pigtails for BMS, then the 3 bank B-, P-, & C- for the functional end of the board. It simplifies the wiring process. Again, this is far more robust than the other chips i have tried. this will be the implemented chip in the finished products if the discharge cutoff functions per spec which I'm confident it will.I won't use this pack for high discharge currents so no opinion on the 100A draw rating it notes. Seeing how the management side uses the negative terminals to work and the build quality, I can see the 100A draw being accurate. I am using it to power surveying equipment which is relatively lower draw but will prevent battery swaps for whole day setups. The 10A charge restriction makes sense as the charging side of batteries tends to be the wear down cycle. a slower charge will provide better cell conditioning. I'd check with the cell manufacturer charge current per cell and review that with how many cells your config runs in parallel. The length and width dimensions are correct. I would use 9mm for the thickness as that's what I get from the screw heads.
