L’Oreal Paris Excellence Universal Nudes Permanent Hair Color, Ammonia Free Hair Dye for Gray Hair Coverage, 6N Natural Light Brown, 1 Hair Dye Kit

I started going gray in my late 20s and have been coloring my light auburn hair for 40+ years. This dark blonde color covers the grays perfectly and delivers a softer, lighter color that flatters my warm skin tone without being too golden blonde. I absolutely love it!

I have had gray hair since I was 18 and I am now 40+ I have had trouble finding colors that aren't too red or gold because it comes off as a weird orangey brown. The color I used is 2N Soft Black, which is what I always used in other Loreal hair dyes (although I will likely try 4N next time because this is just a tad too dark, but not bad for winter!) and it covered every bit of my gray. I even took off 5 minutes from my all over color time and it still worked great. Please keep this product around forever!

My favorite “box” hair color of all time.I have used L’Oréal for years, all the different types, and colors, but I decided to see how much lift I could get without bleach, and time my white hairs blonde. this is by far my favorite formula of all time for that purpose.My hair is naturally dark brown, but is now salt and pepper with a lot of salt around my face.As you can see, the level of lift I get with this non ammonia formula is surprising. The neutral toning really works and is unlike anyone other. My hair is soft and healthy.Love how it blends my colors so naturally. Gives a hint of gold, but that is to be expected with lightening dark hair. It is no where near the orange shade that other formulas give.I use N7.

I have naturally medium chocolate hair and this dye made my hair very dark brown, almost black. It's still beautiful on me but just heads up. Suppose it's going to wash off overtime.I lost a lot of hair during the process but at the end my hair was very soft. But I like that there is no chemical smell whatsoever.----------------UPDATE after one month: some dye has washed off and the color is now more like the picture, light brown, which I like.

This is the perfect base. The color was 6N light brown. If you used to have blonde hair when you were a kid, that darken over time and you have been highlighting it, 6N is the perfect base. I has some grey hairs that it didn’t completely cover. I loved, the application, the fact that it didn’t irritate my scalp, and the end result was not flat, the color has so much dimension. I applied it on my roots and left the big lites pieces out, left for 20 minutes, the applied the rest on mid way through the ends and left it for another 5 minutes. The shampoo and conditioner that comes with the skit are great too. All and all I highly recommend it!!

I love the color and have received compliments on it. But it took three applications, with several months in between, before it somewhat covered my gray roots. This last time, my scalp turned very red. My dermatologist noticed it during an exam shortly after the last application. It’s possible this product is the cause. It has subsided somewhat since first applying and my dermatologist is watching it.

New, fresh in box, perfect color to go back to work with. Don't have the time or want to spend the money yet for a salon redo - almost/not quite so this was perfect and a great brand overall. do recommend.
