I didn't buy this product for its intended sensory purposes, but the quality is very good, and it does block out 100% of the light; I put my head in it and it reached to about my hips when I was standing, and I couldn't see any light filtering through the sides. It was evening and I was only using the light from my living room to test though, I can't say anything about daylight. It is very durable material and popped up perfectly when I opened the package. It also came much sooner than I expected!

I purchased this tent for an essential skills special ed classroom to use in the "Safe Place." It is dark, quiet and small enough to fit easily in my room for a 3-6year old. I would recommend this to other teachers in need of a space where blocking out overstimulating sensations is preferred at times.

**Update 11/2024: The company reached out to me shortly after I posted my original review and offered me a full refund so I added another star for customer service and one more since the tent is still fully functional despite the trim coming unstitched. Everything else has held up very well after several months of use.My autistic son had a small tent the same size of this one that he spent a lot of time in but it had mesh on the sides. He would always put a blanket over it to block out the light so I bought this sensory tent for him. It definitely serves its purpose as far as providing a safe, comfortable space for him while blocking out all light. However, the stitching is not the best quality so the trim around the opening of the tent is coming off in several places because the stitching is unraveling. So far that's the only place I've noticed the stitching unraveling but it's only been used a month and of course I noticed this 2 days after the return window closed so I can't even return it or exchange it now. I expected much better quality considering how much I paid for it. Otherwise, it works as intended but I don't see it lasting very long which is very frustrating for such an expensive item. I really wanted to love this tent and I would have if it was made better but I cannot recommend purchasing this sensory tent. I gave it 2 stars only because my son loves it and can still use it for now.

Purchased for my autistic grandson what a perfect place for him to get away when he’s having a stressful day he absolutely loves it.

Too small for my 5 year old. Ended up returning for a larger tent.

My nephew will love this. When he needs the sanctuary and silence..he will have his own place.
