only for light use
The grinder is lightweight and easy to handle, making it suitable for small tasks like cutting, polishing, grinding, and sharpening. However, the battery life is not very long, and I find myself needing to recharge frequently, which disrupts my work. The power is not strong enough for heavy-duty jobs. It works well for light tasks, but it struggles with more demanding projects. The build quality is okay, but it doesn't feel as sturdy as I hoped.

Underpowered, dreadful battery life, useles.
I tried using this to cut some thin sheet metal... no chance. Managed about a cm and used up a whole battery that I'd fully charged. Thought I'd give it a second chance and used it to try and cut some plastic trim... couldn't even manage that. Not fit for purpose. For the same money you could buy a mains powered grinder and an extension - do that instead. This is useless. Returned.

Don't buy
Mini angle grinder had missing locking washer and instructions. I was able to find an allen key screw and washer of my own that fitted so could fit the disc. Worked OK until I tried to charge the batteries. They would not charge even after 14 hours. It is now useless and a waste of £40.

LIROPAU - 12V Mini Cordless Angle Grinder
I have both a corded and an 18v 115mm angle grinders that get used a fair amount, but occasionally they can be just a little too big and bulky to get into smaller spaces or just a little cumbersome for some tasks, which is where a small 75mm cut off tool such as this one from LIROPAU comes in handy. The grinder itself is really nice and compact, but has a decent chunky feel in the hand.On the top you have a thumb operated switch, which can be slid up and held to power it on and then released to turn off again, or you can push it up with your thumb and press it down to lock it on (pressing the bottom edge will release it and switch off). The grinder takes 75mm diameter discs, which are fitted onto the 10mm arbour by first locking the spindle by sliding and holding the red semi-circular plastic locking clip away from the tool. You can then remove the bolt using the supplied hex key and then sandwich the disc between the 2 plates and tightening the screw. Push the locking clip back down and you are good to go.The tool runs on a 12v rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that clips neatly into the end of the handle (that has nice soft grip sections on it).***** In The Box *****1 x Mini Grinder2 x 12v Batteries2 x 75mm Diameter Steel Cutting Discs1 x Battery Charger1 x Hex Key1 x User Guide***** Conclusion *****I was quite excited to give this little grinder a test and although it works ok, I’ve definitely been left feeling a bit disappointed. The product description and images state this this tool has a brushless motor, but the one I received sparks like a gooden when you start it up indicating that it is not brushless (there is also no mention of being brushless on either the tool, the packaging or the manual).Secondly, the images show an LED battery indicator panel on the handle, but this is also missing from the model I received – this would be really useful as there are no indicator lights on the battery itself, so you never know how much power remains inside the batteries. The on/off switch feels a little cheap, but it does actually work well, locking on and releasing easily and is nicely placed for easy access. And again, the spindle lock seems a bit cheap and a bit strange compared to most that use a button design, but it is functional so far.I like that the guard can easily be rotated to your desired position by simply twisting it and I like that you get 2 batteries included in the pack, as it means you can have one charging whilst using the other, but the charger doesn’t really inspire much confidence given it weighs almost nothing (I certainly wouldn’t be leaving it somewhere to charge unattended).I did use the included grinding discs to cut through several small bolts without any issues (making sure to wear eye protection and a mask), but you do need to keep in mind that this is for light tasks and not for cutting through thick steel plate all day long.It would also be quite handy for small cuts in tile, with the correct disc fitted.Priced at £39.99, it does seem to be around the average kind of price, although I did notice you can get very similar models including a brushless motor, slightly larger capacity batteries and a storage case for just few pounds more.So would I buy it? Probably not – I think I’d probably wait until Lidl have their 12v range on offer and grab one from there at around the same kind of price but with the knowledge that I’d get a 3-year warranty and would be able to get replacement batteries quite easily.
