Hurricane Proof!!!!
Run don’t walk to buy this! This is the best car topper I have ever owned. I have a family of 6 and we need all the space we can get inside our vehicles. I purchased this before we took a trip from FL to OH in the late summer. It held up well, and our items were protected on the drive. When we got home, we were able to store it back in a bag smaller than my purse. Whaaattt???But that’s not the cool part, I can officially say this is hurricane rated. We had tickets to a football game in Ann Arbor (Go Blue) and it happened to be the weekend Helene wreaked havoc on the US. We left a day ahead of the storm, but she caught up to us around Asheville, NC (look up how Helene impacted Asheville). It rained most of the drive there, but it was not torrential and the wind was not too bad. When we arrived in NC our suitcases in the topper were fine. We brought it into our room and hung it to dry in the shower because the outside was wet. Inside where our stuff was, dry dry dry.The next day, when Helene was at her worst in NC, we had to keep going or we wouldn’t make it in time to our destination. I was very worried our stuff would blow away, be soaked, ruined and I was researching laundry mats in MI because I just knew our stuff was going to be damaged. Through a tropical storm and hurricane force wind gusts, and torrential downpours, we made it to Ann Arbor. And it rained THE ENTIRE TIME. Helene followed us the entire way to Ann Arbor. After another 12 hours of traveling, in the worst possible weather, we arrived and much to our surprise, the topper was still in mint condition, our luggage protected and I was shocked. We went to the game Saturday (Helene joined us for that too) and began our drive home in more bad weather, rain and high winds.Four days of traveling, 2002 miles, through a hurricane and the aftermath of the storm system, rain and winds THE ENTIRE DRIVE, and all of our stuff remained dry. The plastic clips held up, the straps didn’t fray or weather, the zipper is strong and didn’t come undone. There is a flap that covers the zipper that is very very important to fold over and strap down, but if you follow the install guidelines it will not disappoint. We carried 4 carryon size suitcases, a box fan, 2 large duffle bags and still had room for more. Our first trip we were also able to fit two large suitcases, three carry on size suitcases, the fan and two duffles. When packed correctly the space in this is excellent. If you don’t have a luggage rack on top of your car it comes with clips to hook to your windows. This is for ANY VEHICLE. It was also surprisingly quiet. I cannot speak to the “gas mileage loss” because we were driving in the mountains, but I didn’t even notice that it was on top of the car through all that rain and wind. It didn’t budge. For the price you would expect that this would be a very poor cheap car topper, but I would buy it 100 times again!!!!You need this in your life.

Good investment for travel
We ordered this for a 1600 mile round trip. Every seat in the Pilot was full, so there was zero space for luggage. I have roof racks but no crossbars, so we just used them, loaded it on the roof and strapped that sucker down tight. It worked great. The wind was TERRIBLE the whole trip, and other than shifting back just a bit, it stayed right where we put it. No rips or tears and everything stayed dry. The material and zipper seem to be pretty heavy duty. It was in the same shape when we got home that is was out of the box, the 3 states worth of bugs not withstanding. It also has a LOT of space. We put luggage for 7 people and a dog in it and had to bring extra pillows for the open space. I would buy it again.

Excellent
This carrier is exactly what I needed for my move. Held up amazingly to high speeds and weather. Zipper works great and is very sturdy. The value is awesome for the price. The carrier was easy to put on ( neec 2 people if your short). Had way more space than I expected. And was easy to fold back down and put I. It’s case.

Durable
I ended up returning this due to using another option but wanted to give a review anyways. The bag has thick material, its spacious, and definitely waterproof as there is a flap the covers the zipper. Would definitely purchase again if needing it more for than just a wagon.

Good and spacious
Move from north to south and it rain in some of the hours we was driving even though it did leak inside the car while it was raining nothing inside of it got wet . I did not have a rack in top of my suv so had to put it through the rubber in door. It was super spacious , wish i would have gotten another for the other car we drove . We were able to pack it up really good .

Do NOT go by the size listed in their picture!!!
The dimensions they have listed are 51"x39"x27" which is what I used to measure the roof of my car. This would make the bag 31 ft³ and it is not that big.The real dimensions for 20 ft³ bag is about 46"x34"x22". I don't know why all of their pictures show the wrong dimensions.
