Good quality foam with a quite high compression resistance, easy to cut and the adhesive backing adheres to clean surfaces very well, really usefull stuff

Very good and did the job to insulate the toilet cistern.

Used this to pad a section of wood placed behind a wine rack to prevent possible breakages. As it was black it also matched the inside of the cabinet. For this use it performs quite well.However, despite arriving on time and in good condition, the rolled up nature did cause the paper protection of the stick aspect to detach in places the more coiled the pad became. This caused an issue when attaching it to the board. I also had to lay it flat with a few weights to ensure less curl.So far, it has stuck, but know I may need to actually glue it down at a later time. Aside from this, I am quite happy with product.

Itnwll was the perfect thickness , not too dense but not too soft . I liked being able to stick it down too , came in handy.Will buy morw at a later date

This product is described as self adhesive. When it arrived it was tightly wrapped into a roll. The first 3 layers had almost NO adhesive. When I say almost no adhesive I mean the protective film for the adhesive wouldn’t even stick to the sponge..! The next few layers stuck if weighted down for a few hours. The time was in part required to iron out the curved shape of the sponge due to how it was shipped - because this was stronger than the adhesive.The next 5 or 6 layers had no adhesive. At this stage I gave up and returned the product.

I bought this product to act as a seal on a dust extractor .In fairness, the foam appears to seal well but don't expect the adhesive to work - I was sticking to plywood - because it doesn't and had to resort to coating the timber with PVA glue first and that worked.Also as others have mentioned, as one unrolls the material, the paper backing peels off. Equally, the roll does not unfold particularly well - I had to resort to two sheets of timber and 6kgs weights to level but it did work in the end, hence 3 stars. It will be interesting to see if the advertising of dust seal actually works - fingers crossed
