Compact and easy to fit with 2 screws and battery should last 10 Years. Sounds loud.

So easy to replace
OMG I recieved 2 of these today. They were up and working within 5 minutes. So simple. I had already removed the old alarms so it was simply plug in the connector, twist base in place, pop in the battery, switch the mains on and that's it. Obviously, it is early days regarding performance but as far as installation is concerned it is first class.

easy to connect
I bought this to update two MBX670 wired smoke alarms which had started to beep and do not have batteries. They connect very easily but they just about fit old plate. I connected them in seconds but it took ages to try and fit it to the old plate which does not cover it completely. I would recommend them as you do not need an electrician to fit them. So while they are expensive they are cheaper in the long run.

Easy to fit
It took me longer to get the step's setup than it did to fit this replacement alarm.Make sure to push the little red tab down as you insert the battery, otherwise you won't be able to close the lid.I had one out of two of the old BKR alarms which had developed a fault as the two alarms were interlinked. I was pleased to find that when the replacement for the faulty BKR was fitted the interlink worked without problems.It is recommended to replace all the alarms, but as the non-faulty BKR still has a few years left before it is due to be changed & like most people, I'm watching the pennies. So just changing the faulty one will do for now.I just hope these are still around to buy in a few years time.

Straightforward replacement for older models
The product is as described, a straightforward replacement of an earlier model that is no longer manufactured. Installation took just a few minutes. Works as expected, including interlinking with existing, older model units. Instruction/user manual easy to read and understand.

Far too expensive but the only one's I could find to fit an existing installation.

Expensive but worked exactly as it should do!!
I grudged paying for it but this saved me replacing the base and damaging paintwork. Literally plugged in straight out the box and was fitted in seconds.
