4oz Metal Glue Pot Silver

I do leather work and crafting. The adhesive I use is BARGE glue. It is along the lines of and industrial rubber cement. I needed a smaller container with a brush to apply the glue on to smaller projects. It has worked out wonderfully for what I use it for.I believe some of the poor reviews stem from the glue others are putting in this container are water based. Glues such as products similar in nature and consistency to Elmer's white glue. These containers are tin. And the solder seams are soldered together with more than likely tin and lead solder. You put tin and tin/lead solder in contact with water or a water based product you ARE going to have corrosion and rust.So, IMO the poor reviews do not stem from a defect of the product but "operator malfunction."

I purchased a six pack thinking I could use them in my preschool classroom for gluing and unfortunately the product corroded on the inside after only a day or two with regular school glue on the inside. I'm very disappointed and unfortunately must go through the process of shipping the rusted containers back for the return.

I needed a container for touch up paint while installing siding. I need to paint the ends after cutting. I use oil based paint so easy to dry out. This is quick and convenient. Perfect for my needs.

It's a can with a brush. Just like the ones that various products come in. Does the job. No leaks.I got it to store some penetrating solvent that attacks plastic. Works but a bit expensive for what it is.

I FILL THE CONTAINER WITH GLUE AND THE NEXT DAY THE GLUE WAS BLACK,

After a week of using it is all rusted inside.

Good but shipped in a soft pack.
