If you need to duplicate two monitors, then I guess this would do the trick. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't what I needed. I needed two screens acting independently. Also, I might add that duplicating screens does minimize resolution.

does what it says, read closely
This will give you 2 monitors, but they need to be the same monitors, and will not give you a second screen. It will only duplicate what is on the first monitor so if you want to widen the screen and split between 2 monitors, this won't do it. If you only have one monitor plugged in, you will see a ghosting on the monitor and plugging in the second monitor clears it up, even if the second monitor is turned off.Keeping this in mind, it works for it's intended purpose

Blurry Quality
The Quality came out terrible PLEASE I’m warning you to not buy this anyone who’s seeing this. When I had plugged it into my pc it came out blurry and I had to buy another one so don’t risk buying this because you might end up with a broken one and looking at the other reviews people having the same damn problem 😭
