Excellent audio
I've tried other leads but the sound quality of this one has me hooked. I use it every day of life and it seems pretty robust.

Great quality for the price
Excellent Quality cable really sturdy and looks like it will last but costs the same as some of the average non gold plated cables I have had in the pass a good bargain

Loose connection
Bought it because I had faith in the brand, generally make good equipment and I’ve had cables from them before. This one disappointed. Though very sturdy and seemingly well-built, the connection to my bass was loose and interfered with my sound. I’m a professional and use equipment every day so it needs to be reliable. I also had the guitarist I work with plug in - same result.Disappointed.

Solid reliable sound quality
Bought this to replace a less reliable lead. Worth spending an extra couple of quid for a high quality reliable audio connection, makes a huge difference linking guitar to audio input device on PC.

A-class cables at a fraction of the price of a boutique cable.
No noise, no interference, no tangles, full spectrum sound from my L5 copy. Roland/Boss quality. You can keep your boutique cables, these do the job for me. I've used one for three years with no problems and just bought another as a spare for my gigging kit.

Terrible durability
I decided to buy one of these because I know Roland make quality products and j decided to spend that bit extra for a lasting cable. First one broke after about 4 months so Amazon offered a replacement and I figured I was just unlucky with that cable. My replacement just broke on stage at a gig the other day and I spent about 20 minutes messing with my pedals and was in disbelief when I realised another one of these cables has broken - in the same spot too!Basically, in both instances, the joint between the wire and angled jack has come apart. In only a few months too! Thankfully I can use a soldering iron to attempt a fix but it's a really awkward one on these cables because it's wrapped up in some kind of thick shrink wrap to prevent the wires from being damaged (which clearly isn't working too well) so it's just a pain. Was a little annoyed with Amazon as they refuse to refund or replace the replacement cable as it's been over a year since I've ordered the 1st cable (even though my replacement was ordered only 8 months ago).I'll stick with Fender cables. Have never had a problem with their Pro series cables. These Roland Gold cables are overpriced and unreliable.
