We have a 4 person metal, middle height dining room table and the feet unscrewed from the bottom of this table and these screwed right into the same holes. We've had four people eating at this table with these wheels on and it did not fail. All four of us at times had our arms on the table with a table full of food. I don't know how people say these wheels fail, perhaps they did not screw them in all the way? I don't know but they sure work for us. If they do fail us then I will update my review. Lastly they roll on our new linoleum floor easily and quietly. If this lasts it will be one of the best purchases I've made in years. One small person moves our table with ease without messing up our 2,000 dollar floor.

I needed a good low profile caster to use on an under-bed storage project and these worked out perfectly. The two main requirements I had was low-profile to avoid losing valuable storage space and ball bearings to make sure that the storage unit would be very smooth and easy to pull out from under the bed and push back under. These caster checked both of those boxes and have worked well. You only add about an inch to the height of whatever you mount them to and the bearing allow them to roll extremely smoothly almost gliding, which is also helped along by the good grip to the floor from the rubber wheels compared to cheaper plastic wheels. Also worth noting that despite being small wheels, they do also roll very well on carpet. Highly recommended if your project requires a small in-line caster.
