Smaller than expected but so much fun!
I was expecting these to be bigger than they are. However their compact size hasn't affected their fun factor. My niece and nephew absolutely love playing with them and incorporating them into imaginative play. They work very well in terms of magnetism and the quality is good.

Surprisingly enormous fun.
In some ways these are unspectacular - they are quite light plastic, a bit rattly, and don't feel particularly premium. They're also - at a current price of 15.98 - not cheap for a small set of blocks. But they are incredible fun. I handed them to a two year old, who wouldn't stop playing with them, though eventually other kids got a turn (including a 12 year old!) - and they all found them irresistible. There's something deeply compelling about the way they stick together - the magnets aren't powerful, but just right for these to stick and work well. The rattle, too, actually makes them interesting. For what looks like a small pile of blocks, they offer an incredible amount of play.Because they stick to each other, they pack down nicely into the bag, even though it looks too small at first sight.
