Works perfect, great value.
I bought the 1" NPT thread size. This will fit great in a ball lock corney keg and the Fermonster carboy. I suspect it would also fit in the Big Mouth Bubbler, Fast Ferment, and Spiedels, but I'd recommend confirming the dimensions of your vessel first. I believe the 3/8" NPT size will fit into sanke kegs and conventional carboys such as better bottles, but again do a little research to confirm prior to purchase. I will say the dimensions of the spray ball were as advertised.I hooked this up to a 1/3HP submersible pump. I took the build to the next level by adding valves and small lines with male flare fittings. This allows me to connect short lines with ball lock disconnects to the keg and clean out the dip tube as I'm cleaning the keg. I can also shut the supply to the spray ball off and use it to clean out my kegerator lines. This spray ball is a cleaning machine. The way it happened to come together, the krausen ring of my carboy gets the hardest blast from the spray ball.I absolutely love the cleaner as a whole, and this spray ball at an unbelievable value is a big reason why. All total I've spent about the same as the popular keg/carboy cleaner and feel this is more versital and does a better job.

Very well built, but needs a beefy pump to run it
This thing seems to be very well built, including solid SS and roller bearings inside so that is spins very smoothly. I tried using this with the fountain pump that came with my Mark's Keg Washer, but the pump just doesn't have enough pressure to spin it very well. It does spin, and will "coat" the inside of the keg or fermenter with cleaning solution, but doesn't really have enough force to "scrub" solids off. I will be purchasing a beefier pump and will update this review once I get a satisfactory solution.UPDATE: I purchased a 1/3HP submersible pump and wow, the difference is amazing. Paired with the larger pump, this CIP spray ball really puts out the spray. Sitting out in my driveway I tested both pumps. With the Marks Keg Washer pump, it sprayed out about 2-3 feet, weakly. With the larger pump it puts out heavy spray up to 8-9 feet. Here is the pump I bought: Superior Pump 91330 1/3 HP Thermoplastic Submersible Utility PumpIt took some work finding all of the adapters to reduce the 1-1/4" NPT fitting on the pump to 1/2" NPT on this ball, but it was worth it.I think you could probably get away with the 1/4 or 1/5 HP versions of this pump, but the 1/3HP pump works perfectly for cleaning corny kegs and fermenters.

Works but needs good pressure to perform.
I use this on my Mark II keg washer for cleaning corny kegs (homebrewing). The pressure from the Mark II pump is not enough to really reach the full height of the keg. I put a little electric tap around the bottom side and created a little more flow for the end of the ball and it does a better job. The best thing I can say is the price was good. RDWHAHB.

Excellent with 1/4HP Pump!
I built a DIY Corny keg washer with this and it worked wonderfully. CIP spray balls typically need quite a bit of pressure/volume to push them properly and this one is no exception. Pair with a 1/4HP submersible pump, this makes easy work out of keg cleaning!

Great keg washer accessory. Be aware of loose metal shavings on your first use or trial run
I haven't been able to see it work but my kegs are coming out clean. As another review mentioned, be aware of some residual shavings. When I turned off my pump there were a few on two different occasions that were barely slipping through he openings of the spray ball and I had to pick them out with small tweezers. Some sank down to the bottom of my cleaning bucket that I could easily see and pick out.Perhaps a high pressure pump rinse outdoors before you do any recirculating wash to avoid risk of shavings in your pump.Otherwise I think it is a great accessory! I would buy it again . Just be alert

Spend the extra money to buy a good one. This one lasted me about a week ...
This thing started rusting as soon as in heard running water. Cheap painted metal. Spend the extra money to buy a good one. This one lasted me about a week before it was too rusty to use.

Works well
This little ball really puts out the spray. I have it connected to a 1/4 hp fountain pump. Sprays 10 feet in all directions. Does not work with a garden hose. Needs plenty of volume.

Still working after 2 years
The only complaint I have is that you have to turn the water on at just the right speed to get it to spin. Once it's spinning it does a great job of cleaning. Been like this since the first day. Still working after two years in a crap tank.
