This is my first foray into hydroponics, so keep that in mind. From my perspective, this was easy to set up and easy to use. I was worried about leaks, but so far, there have been no issues. My plants are growing great, and I am very happy with this.

The water stays in a couple of rows and doesn’t flow functionally through all of the levels, before getting pumped through the system again. The cost wasn’t bad. It is very sturdy when set up. It is hard to get the rows into the holes. The size is good. There are 9 holes per row and 8 rows total. I think that the Rose that hold the pods should have been slightly angled so that the water could flow through it to each level like each level should be slanted the opposite way so the water actually goes down each tube all the way in down to the container that holds water and then back up thru the pump.

I have all kinds of hydroponics systems in my home, but always wanted an outdoor unit. I had looked at this type of system before, but never acquired one, until now. When assembling, I highly recommend aligning the parts first, then tapping them together with a rubber mallet. You do NOT need PVC cement! This system will not leak, if assembled correctly. You will only need a reservoir (bought one, drilled two holes in it, and filled it with hydroponic nutrient water at 1.2EC), and your grow sponges (I cut down the standard grow sponges and seed them myself). The system has been working perfectly and I'm very happy with the results I'm getting. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.
