These are well made and very bright. The colors are AMAZINGLY vivid. While not required, I run these in a channel with a diffuser and have zero hot spots. If you think you want to run white, don’t. Just don’t. It uses an amazing amount of power and generates quite a bit of heat. You’ll need to turn the brightness down or risk damaging them. I’ve run these in various states for about 2000 hours with excellent results.

These lights are so bright yet so small. You will love them.

gave this an excellent rating before, however after the initial testing...light strip began to intermittently flash and failed to properly light. Don't buy unless you want to pull out your hair trying to get these to work

On my first order, I didn't know what I needed for the project, I ordered per some videos. But the seller contacted me suggesting tips and even saw my plan for suggesting better way to make it better. Before you order would highly suggest:1) Calculate the power needed for the length per the description. Then Order the power supply.2) Wifi controller per each zone and all that can be controlled using a remote. Remote is a little bit flimsy and also app through wifi. Using bluetooth inside the app works great.3) Connectors - L shape connectors (90 degree turns), extension wires (when your measurement is between 2 cut points) and clip connectors (join two led strips) are usually what you need4) Making a connection is tricky but once hooked it stays. Like you gotta use the flat pliers with a nice and easy snap! I have failed sometimes bending (toomuch side force) or loose (you gotta push the wires isnide as you can)5) Stickiness is something I am still trying to question like it looses it eventually I think, I guess we have to buy an extra thing double sided tape in the future to strengthenI gice it 5 stars as the customer service was excellent and light turned out to be great. There is a learning curve to do this project. Have patience!

BTF LIGHTING WS2811 IC. 720 LEDs per meter. When used with a diffuser, there are no hot spots. Very smooth color. I used the MagWLED controller but it was barebones without an enclosure. I switched to GLEDOPTO ESP32 LED Controller. These are DC 12V lights and you must be very careful not to put too much power to them because the ICs will definitely burn out (and I mean catch fire). This is not unique to this brand. I’m still new to the WLED control interface but the WS2811 provides segmentation and many other options. Recommended.

I have 2 strips that I didn’t need to cut and splice and they work great! No issues at all but the design of the strip puts the ground and data copper pads way to close together and it was a pain in the but to solder on new wires. Also had issues with the strips I cut even though they were done correctly that they wouldn’t transfer data over the splice. I tested them multiple times before I put them up and they worked but once they were in place they failed. Ended up scrapping 2 cob strips and going with the sk6812’s. The ws2812b and SK6812’s are a much better LED strip IMO for custom installs due to the design of the strip.
