I have been using it for about a week just under one arm, so that I could compare, and it has been working well. I have not been shaving since I started using it and have noticed little to no growth. I know it may take a few more treatments for the full effect but I am happy to keep using it. Use 2-3x a week until hair is no longer growing back and then once weekly for upkeep and you will be hairless. I absolutely LOVE this device! 10/10 recommend.
